I work according to Hahnemann’s disease classification
which was developed by the founder of homeopathy, Samuel Hahnemann.
There is a holistic approach; that there is a layering of the patient’s “disease development”. The clinical picture is therefore divided into different classes.
We look at a possible hereditary disorder; the influence of regular medicines and their side effects; symptoms resulting from an incident; aggressive symptoms that emerge as a constitutional reaction, often evoked by an incident; symptoms due to external contamination; symptoms that result from a badly experienced or suppressed infectious disease, possibly with an endemic character (the flu) and symptoms that arise directly from the patient’s constitution (basic condition).
All symptoms show a disturbance of vitality, the life force.
When one starts to order the history of the patient’s disease symptoms, the core or root of the dynamic disturbance and thus the imbalance of the vital force quickly becomes clear. First the surface symptoms or disturbances are prescribed for, and attention is given to possible blockages that may hinder the effect of the homeopathic remedies.
When the outer layers and blockades have been treated, the way is opened for the treatment of the deeper constitutional layers with their associated symptoms.
In order to be able to prescribe medicine for different disease layers at the same time, I work with special dilutions, the so-called LM potencies.
The principle behind the LM scale is to increase the dynamic potency of the medicine while at the same time reducing its duration and intensity of action with a high degree of dilution.
This allows for repeated prescribing of the medicine with its mild nature, without the patient experiencing aggravations, and should these occur occasionally, this aggravation is short-lived and easy to control. “
When using LM potencies, low potencies (LM1, LM2, or LM3) with an adjusted dosage are used, at the beginning of the treatment, in multiple steps so that healing is gradual, mild, and efficient.
